Question Time tonight.

It'll be good to have a go at Vince and remind him he's on the wrong side. Nigel Farage on the other hand...I hope listening to him won't break my brain.

I have to prepare, but Ed's singing 'Don't Stop Believing' a bit too loudly in the next room.

I was on the Daily Politics with IDS today.

I have to admit I've missed him a bit. He can be quite lovely when he restricts himself to talking about coffee and other things far removed from public policy. But I haven't missed his pathetic excuses for undoing all my hard work. He is so, so wrong on unemployment.

He may have to go on the list.

Not impressed by this fanfiction from the Times.

I CAN smile. I'm not Gordon Brown.

But how do they know about the list?

No more Foreign Affairs for me, after Alan Johnson decided to resign. It's Home Affairs now.

I've got stack-loads on control orders and prisoner's votes and what-not to catch up on, but feeling rather light-headed after the party.

A still image from video shows Britain's opposition Labour Party finance spokesman Alan Johnson (2nd L), flanked by party leader Ed Miliband (L) and members of the shadow cabinet Harriet Harman and Yvette Cooper (R), responding to a UK government spending announcement at parliament in London October 20, 2010. Britain said on Wednesday it would cut half a million public sector jobs, raise the retirement age and slash the welfare state as part of the biggest spending cuts in a generation.

Sorry to see you go, Alan :|

The New Year's Eve issue has been resolved and I told Ed he could come back home.

Work starts tomorrow and there's a Shadow Cabinet meeting to start it all off. Seating arrangements are the most awkward they could possibly be and these meetings are hardly a bundle of joy as it is.

I'm tempted to call in sick, but I need to be sure that Doug knows what he's talking about at Work and Pensions Question Time.
