*rushes through front door*

Ed, you've made dinner, haven't you? Did Andy turn up?

You can mock us, but this meeting could be the start of a new wave of the feminist movement. Ed Miliband won't really stand out - he'll be fine.

Once again, the release of memoirs is timed to be as unhelpful as possible to former colleagues. Talk about vindictive.

Of course I reported back to the prime minister. That's what ministers are supposed to do.

*sigh*

Aside from the pouring rain and unfortunate incidents that went public, it was a successful day.

Fine. I gave in to twitter.

How long before I regret this?

Congratulations on your wedding day, Ed.

Thanks for the non-invitation.

I'll be keeping an eye on the post. I owe you one, Independent. Especially for calling me 'young'.

Even if you weren't so generous the day before.

Perhaps now keener than ever to prove to those uncharitable critics that she isn't merely a short-tempered bossy boots with the kind of socially awkward husband you traditionally try to avoid at barbecues, the Yvette charm offensive now goes into overdrive.

Don't get your hopes up. I'm no Cameron.

I can't believe you told everyone about my dancing.

I'm never going to live this down.

I suggest putting myself first for once and I'm a traitor.

I don't know where he is.

Maybe he's with Andy

I hate the world

Why shouldn't we get extra travel expenses? No one else has to ship their kids up and down the country every bloody week.

It's amazing what Tories will resort to when they're afraid we're going to take over the country of what a strong political force we are.

And by the way, Telegraph, I haven't been the shadow work and pensions secretary for nearly six months.
